Malware can attack Windows®, Mac® and Linux® by using the Get.Shell function

July 20, 2012  Malware News

The malware is written as an applet in Java™ programming language. The moment the user visits the website infected by this malware, he is asked for confirmation of the Java™ applet launch. At the moment of the launch, the applet checks the operation system version and saves a binary file for the appropriate operating system. This file then downloads malware from the control server which depends on the attacker's requirements. These files are detected by security applications like Backdoors. We recommend users regularly use database update and active realtime shield.
