This month our statistics have recorded increased activity within the Trojan.Pattoo worm family, that primarily spreads via email and attacks all contacts in the Microsoft Outlook mail client by sending a copy of itself. It can identified by the subject header where is written “hey…”, and contains an executable file in attachment that is always named differently in order to confuse the victim. We recommend regular updating of our antispyware database and caution when opening emails with suspicious content.
