Crawler Introduces Spyware Terminator 2.5 Release Candidate

In order to make Spyware Terminator more user-friendly we've completely redesigned its Real-Time Protection including the design of Real-Time Shield alerts. Spyware Terminator 2.5 Release Candidate includes two protection modes:
Basic Protection - This mode is intended for less experienced users. Spyware Terminator decides most issues for these users.
Advanced Protection - This mode is designed for experienced users and lets them decide about all actions. Experienced users can also pick a Custom mode and configure settings of each shield.
All actions are automatically added to a Review List giving the user a chance to change their decision about previously allowed or denied actions.
Spyware Terminator 2.5 Release Candidate also includes an Install Mode allowing users to temporarily place Real-Time Protection on-hold while knowingly installing a program. Plus the user can switch to Allow or Deny Mode.
Besides the redesigned Real-Time Shield, Spyware Terminator 2.5 Release Candidate also offers an enhanced HIPS feature that allows the user to choose from two security levels. ClamAV settings has been adjusted and simplified, and other minor bugs have also been fixed.

October 3, 2008: We're now releasing a second beta version of Spyware Terminator 2.5 that includes fixes for bugs found in our first beta release. Read the whole article to learn more...
We would like to thank all users who participated in the testing of the first beta version and provided valuable feedback that helped us fix found bugs. Now that we've release the second beta, we would like to ask you to continue your beta testing and report back to us on any bugs that you may find and suggestions on how to make Spyware Terminator even better.
Spyware Terminator 2.5 beta 2 includes these bug fixes:
- Improved settings of ClamAV
- Improved Install mode detection dialog
- Added multiselect in White and Black List
- Added help links on Real-Time Shield alerts
- Fixed install mode bugs
- Fixed graphical issues and other minor bugs
- The setup size has been reduced, and the remaining data will be downloaded afterwards.
