Bredolab backdoor activity is increasing

November 10, 2009, Malware News

Our spyware lab encountered an increase of volume of unsolicited mail that is directly connected with harmful code from the Bredolab backdoor family. The computer will, among other things, become part of a botnet that sends more of the same spam. Spam experts agree that Bredolab’s unsolicited mail is responsible for more than 5% of the total spam sent during last month.
